We are delighted to announce several staff announcements at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter Galleria.
Jose Garcia has been promoted to Engineering Supervisor. Jose has been with our property since January 2001 and has made a significant contribution to the Engineering team.
Maria Rivera has accepted the promotion to Banquet Captain. Maria began with our property in June 2001 and has been a valuable team player within the Banquets Department.
Kenneth Ricks has been promoted to Accounting Manager. Kenneth returned to IHG in March 2011 and has been an outstanding addition to the Accounting team.
Corey Douglas (Front Desk Supervisor) accepted the position as Housekeeping Supervisor. Corey has been with our property since January 2009 and we are excited that he has accepted another growth opportunity within our hotel. Corey has already begun his transition in the Housekeeping Department, but will continue with assistance as Night Auditor when needed.
Meredith Patterson has joined us a Sales Coordinator. Meredith transferred from the Holiday Inn Charleston Mills House, where she served as Guest Services Agent/Manager on Duty. She was responsible for daily front desk operations, daily reports and resolving guest issues and concerns. Meredith has also held front office positions at the Doubletree Suites and has been a wedding coordinator at “A Charleston Bride” in South Carolina.
Derrick Wheeler joins our hotel as Front Office Manager. Derrick joins us from the Melia Hotel, where he worked at the 502-room, 4 star/4 diamond property in the capacity of Front Office Manager. He was responsible for overseeing all Front Office operations, including Front Desk Agents, Bell Staff, Concierge, Valet, and Security. Derrick also served as Director of Front Office Operations for Atlanta Marriott Buckhead and Marriott Atlanta Northwest.
Chad Wilson joins us as Controller. Chad most recently served as Controller at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Centerin Macon where he oversaw accounting responsibilities for the hotel, convention center, coliseum and auditorium. Chad has also held Controller positions at the Westin Atlanta North, Hyatt Lisle in Chicago, Hyatt Regency Atlanta, and Philadelphia Marriott.
Onyeka Ndubisi (Front Desk Supervisor) has accepted the position as Night Duty Manager. Onyeka has been with our property since June 2009 and we are excited that he has accepted another growth opportunity within our hotel. Along with his current Front Desk responsibilities, Onyeka’s primary focus will be continue to enhance the guest experience with a specific focus on Priority Club members.
